Is this (A) the Stalker unmasked or (B) a stolen fan photo?

Most of you are familiar with our favorite cyberstalker, aka "vixen" on blogger.com/personalfanpages.com, and her habit of assuming multiple internet pseudonyms -- a list of which continue to grow over in our pseudonym directory, here. You may also be familiar with our resident Wacko's propensity to steal the intellectual property of bloggers and fans. Consider, for example, the incident described in Vix-Myths™ (Pt. 1), where the stalker, clearly without authorization, used a photo of Caruso, Rachel Fuller and Pete Townsend that was pilfered from Fuller's official blog.

Aside from outright intellectual property theft, our sick friend dabbles in misappropriation as well. Case in point, an incident where, using her Myspace pseudonym Karen/Fifitrixibelle, "vixen" sought the permission of a blogger.com user to use pics of his San Antonio encounter with David Caruso. Of course, she did not reveal that her intention was to use it to inexplicably obsess over Caruso's fashion choice. "Aaron B. (Snicker)" handled his encounter with "vixen" quite graciously but the consequential reactions to Wacko's behavior is worthy of many snark-accolades.

Now, after stumbling upon a celeb encounter-themed fan site (celebandme.com), we wonder whether the cyberstalker has a nasty habit of impersonating fans as well.

Have a look at a fan photo pictured above, featuring a fan, Caruso and his CSI: Miami co-star, Sofia Milos (click for larger). Not only is the fan photo submission attributed to one "Karen", a very familiar on-line handle from our pseudonym directory, this fan repeatedly makes curious and incorrect references to Sofia Milos as Eva LaRue (it's like
mistaking a yield sign for a stop sign). In the photo caption, there's also the not-so-subtle but nevertheless dubious suggestion that Caruso/LaRue are romantically linked:

"I won a visit to the set of CSI Miami last year in September. The whole cast and crew was great. However, I noticed that David Caruso and Eva la Rue seemed especially close. They laughed a lot and the looks they exchanged told me that they are more than just colleagues. Nice."
Other than two very striking coincidences (i.e., a fan named "Karen" and references to an old and discounted rumor), there's also the suggestion that CSI: Miami offered its fans the opportunity (a contest?...) to check out the set. We weren't aware that the show actually does that.

Here's another observation. The photo submission itself was dated April 11, 2007 and its caption suggests that the picture was taken in September, 2006. For at least a year, there have also been cropped versions of the the same photo (showing just Caruso and Milos), floating around on relevant celeb/TV sites. We suspect that both versions are quite dated, as Sofia Milos hasn't actually been a regular cast member since 2004/2005. This might indicate that the cropped version existed prior to the supposed Sept. 2006 visit to the set. And if that were the case, the anecdotal caption posted on celebandme.com would be a fabrication.

In a nutshell, having had the opportunity to see the set/meet the cast and crew, it's pretty strange that a CSI: Miami fan would speak nothing of that experience and instead dwell on irrelevant and discounted rumors. Secondly, it's also bizarre that a true CSI: Miami fan would mistake Sofia Milos for Eva La Rue. Our point of course, is that if our suspicions are accurate, that "mix-up" was done deliberately.

Still, we're lead to believe that the fan in the photo is it's rightful owner and not the stalker. However, there's a strong indication that the stalker, true to her character, might have stolen/misappropriated the photo of an unsuspecting fan.

In any case, we are left asking:
  • Who is the fan in the photo and where has she published the image before?
  • Was the photo misappropriated and used on celebandme.com without the real owner's knowledge/authorization?
  • Were there (or are there) 'contests' for fans to visit the CSI: Miami set?
What say you, Readers? Any credible info, clarifications and corrections are encouraged and warmly welcomed.

wow, good find, girl. i see you have not lost your super-sleuthing ways....

this is potentially mind blowing, because i am predisposed to believe that the female in the picture could very well be the idiot-in-question, karen/fifybelle/sourgrapes or whatever she calls herself all over the fucking 'net. and as you say, if that aint the ugly vix-meister, it's her posing as such, winning a visit to csi - PUHLEEEZE (major eye roll)...

lacyleanne said...

btw, did you catch that "anonymous" poster on "firecrotch" over there? who do you think that is? lol.

Rachel said...

Oh yeah? That's nice to hear; feels good to be able to squeeze out a post again. ;)

"Idiot-in-question" ---- why are you so hilarious? You know I'm very tempted to think the same for that very reason...just way too dumb to *not* get caught/exposed in this manner.

Also, it's not uncommon for stalkers to have had "in-person" contact with their "stalkees". The lead singer of Linkin Park was stalked by a woman who met him as a fan, months before she began to stalk him. (Actually, if you read that article, you'll find a striking similarly between the vix-meister and that stalker, as far as using their place of employment to do all of their cyberstalking. Very striking indeed.)

I suppose with old Heidie, anything is possible. Who knows!...

Rachel said...

"Firecrotch," huh?

You know, for someone who claims to find Caruso so repulsive, Vix-Wacko nevertheless is the only person on the net who is this preoccupied with discussing the man's genitals/genital areas. Her inner-Delusional Fangirl is totally embattled with both her inner-Stalker and her inner-Mary Sue. Ol' Heidie doesn't know whether she's coming or going.

I'm just dying to read the musings of said clever Anonymous. Show me the link next time you comment. THIS should be good.

I hope I did that right. Anonymous is just very interesting in her total honesty and recollection. Some might say she was even crazy .....for.....caruso. HA HA HA HA HA HA but hurr before she figures it out.

lacyleanne said...

damn, ididnt do it right. well, go there, then to the 2nd page, then to Firecrotch (she is really just so sad and unoriginal, isnt she?)

lacyleanne said...

RATS! stupid cow-bitch caught on! took her over a week though! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA (all the while pointing fingers at austria medical university)

Rachel said...

Yeah I saw that Wacko took it down before I got a chance to see. HAHAHA.

She must have done that after reading this comment thread because this place is suddenly COVERED in Austrian lurk prints. Looks like you weren't the only one who missed me, huh Lace? ;)

lacyleanne said...

yeah, i've gotten bunches of lurkers, too, so YEAH, she's missing you, Rach - maybe she has a "thing" for harassment, ya think?

lacyleanne said...

she has really gone around then bend this time - the David Caruso penis picture - she thinks its funny but it's just....laughably sad, twitsed and obsessed - again - with David's genitalia.

Tanya said...

There's Caru's Miami address in the end of the page aswell.. with phone number(?) Where on earth does she get the phone info from?

lacyleanne said...

she doesnt have it completely right from what i saw, but i'll be damned if i know how she gets that, unless she's wacko enough to pay $$$ for the info. All that info is available if you pay for it. As obsessed with him as I am, i would never do that - she is just NUTZ.

Rachel said...

Well, Lacy, get his:

It would appear that Wacko got the idea to pay for personal info on Caruso his fiance/ex-wife/family from an old episode of CSI: Miami ("Entrance Wound"). The rerun was on A&E today, which I caught by chance.

As terribly unoriginal as Wacko is, what's really striking and kinda creepy is that the character who paid for the personal info in the episode plot turned out to be the central murder suspect.

Goes to show just what kind of psycho fangirl the Vix-meister really is. I mean, drawing inspiration from a fictitious murder story?

Wow. Time for someone to trade in their fanfiction for some intensive therapy.

lacyleanne said...

rach, u mad at me for me email?

Rachel said...

Hey Lace, what do you mean? Why would I be angry?

lacyleanne said...

because i laid my mom shit on you. sorry. my big mouth but meant with love. didnt get a return email, thought maybe you were po'd. miss you so much!!!

Rachel said...

Nah, trust me, you're not the only one of my close contacts that aren't getting any timely email responses from me (or at all). I'm not pissed off, Lace. Plus you know I've been very understanding about your past!

Hey, I'm sorry, Lace. I definitely didn't mean to freak you out with my silence. Things are still ridiculously hectic is all. Don't ever apologize.

lacyleanne said...

i totally understand, Rach. Just missing you. I wish I could help somehow. Wanna come live with me? LOL.

Hoping it gets better soon and we can enjoy that sharp, sarcastic and hilarious wit again!!

xoxo

Rachel said...

Hahaha! You're very kind, Lace. I'm dying of sarcasm withdrawal, believe me. I'm gonna try to put more crucial elbow grease into our usual snark-fest.

Anonymous said...

Sorry, that is not her. That is a Californian woman who posted that pic on CSi files.

Rachel said...

Anonymous,

If that's the case, please shed some light on this, so that I can add a clarification/correction to my original entry. I know that CSI Files is a fan site but I wouldn't know where to look to get the correct story on the original picture.

CelebAndMe said...

Very interesting read. We had no idea about this woman. I hope other people do not submit phony photos to the site. That will ruin the fun.

lacyleanne said...

getting some posts, rach, and me too. from germany, yet.

Rachel said...

Yes indeed, Lace, so you've noticed as well. May not mean anything, though, as Wacko's spam has been irritating a few German web surfers as well.

Rachel said...

CelebAndMe:

That's thoughtful of you, though we haven't verified whether the photo submission was made by someone other than its rightful owner. In any case, it very much looks that way.

CelebAndMe said...

Yes Rachel, that's true, but verified or not, I still took the picture down just to play it safe.

Rachel said...

Oh, well you're absolute right. Considering who you're likely dealing with, it's best to assume the worst until someone can really verify otherwise. Thanks for doing that, and for visiting, too.

Tanya said...

and the other lady isn't eve la rue... it's sofia milos..

lacyleanne said...

hey Rach - she's got a new site up... www.uglycreatures.blogspot.com. unfuckingbelievable.

Rachel said...

That's pretty amazing, Lace. She doesn't understand that 1) she's already been undone 2) that her gimmick has grown old 3) more people recognize her as the internet weirdo behind the 200 sites than she's prepared to admit.

Oh well! Just another link to add to the list of Wacko's sites/pseudonyms, as far as I'm concerned. Good looking out, Lacy.

Rachel said...

Hi Tanya!

Yes, if you click the "Read Me" link, the entry will expand and explain that Mz Wacko deliberately misidentified Sofia Milos as Eva La Rue.

lacyleanne said...

i know she is old hat and boring and not even remotely credible, but i STILL like to watch for her so I can call her out of her hole and let the net know the bitch is still creeping around, under the skin of decency, insidiously spreading rumors and lies to idiots and innocents who aren't smart enough to consider what is really going on.

Besides, it's FUN!

Anonymous said...

...and that makes you look pretty obsesses yourself.

lacyleanne said...

hey, i never said i wasn't obsessed! i AM totally obsessed with david caruso and his lovely family. the difference here is that i love them! i have nothing but good things in my heart, which is full and bloodfilled - not dry and dusty like vixens.

Rachel said...

Really, I just think my Anonymous guest needs a hug.

Anonymous said...

too much "love obsession" can easily turn into something bad - just like the "hate obession".

Rachel said...

What is this, a Philosophy class? While I appreciate your insight, I'm trying to gather information relevant to the original entry over here. If you had pertinent information that would clarify matters of the misappropriated photo, that would be great.

Anonymous said...

I know that the pic has been put up again with the same caption on another blog.

Rachel said...

Yep, as were the misappropriated photos that belong to "Aaron B. (Snicker)" and Rachel Fuller. Hardly surprising. *wink*

Naturally, being able verify true ownership, only the real owner would possess the credibility to just contact celebandme.com and request that the photo go back up (that is, if the owner wanted it up to begin with).

But that clearly hasn't happened. And the real owner certainly isn't going to find a different blog to protect a factually inconsistent caption.

We'd expect that from the thief, though.

*smile*

But thanks for the "tip".

lacyleanne said...

you are TOO fucking smart, girl! amazing.

lacyleanne said...

RACH, YOU DONT HAVE THE SITE "UGLYCREATURES.BLOGSPOT.COM" LISTED.... SHE CALLS HERSELF "SWEET CORN" ON THAT ONE! HAHAHAHAH

oops, sorry...

Rachel said...

LMAO -- is this stalker really THAT sloppy?

*shakes head in utter disbelieve*

Well, I'll add that right now.

Also, I do have the "ugly creatures" site listed (under her other fake name "Cole") but I set up the link code incorrectly, so it's good that you brought this to my attention.

whatever4024 said...

Just to add my 2-cents and answer your first question....

Yes you can visit the sets of television shows if you are willing to pay for them (or know someone that works on the show). There are several celebrity auctions sites that you can bid on set visits, but you end up paying a lot of money (a set visit to 'Pushing Daisies' went for over $6000.00). The last set visit to CSI: Miami went for $1600.00 on one site and you didn’t even get a regular cast member.

As far as contest, I have never heard of one. Sorry!

Rachel said...

Why, thank you for that explanation. And yikes...$1,600-$6,000? That's some hardcore fandom, right there. I'm content with seeing a show's set from my TV. ;o)

As for "CSI: Miami contents" I bet they just don't exist. and still suspect that this "Vixen" character just stole someone else's fan pic. Wouldn't be the first time, after all.

whatever4024 said...

I know they had a TV Guide contest, but it was to get free stuff from the actors, not visit the set.

A set visit kinda hinders the filming for the day. The actor has to visit with the guest and work at the same time. Plus everyone that works that day has to agree to it.

I will say, it's cool to see them film, but I'm like you. I like to see the finished product.

Rachel said...

I've heard of fans hanging around the set during the filming of Miami . A rare few run into cast members and get pics/autographs. Just pure chance/luck as opposed to a formal arrangement.

Or perhaps its a shot of cast members with some kind of entertainment news journalist (I imagine that they'd have such access to more than one cast member while filming on any given show).

All I know is that I've seen a cropped version of it floating around online with just Milos and Caruso. I just can't recall where I've seen it.

whatever4024 said...

If you know where to look, finding the Miami crew filming is pretty hard to miss. Plus they use the same places over and over and over again. LOL!!! You would be surprised to find out how many scenes are shot in a 10 block radius.

So it’s not impossible to run into the actors around town or get pictures of them hanging around the set. Plus the Hummers are hard to miss. Yes, we have a lot of them in California, but not too many the same color as the Miami Hummers.
